August 1 2015 Challenge Featured Layout

We are just a week into the month and we already have so many beautiful entries in our August 1st sketch challenge! Today we're going to feature one of those beauties.

But first we need to thank our two fabulous sponsors offering prizes for this challenge:

A big thank you goes out to ScrapMatts, who is sponsoring this challenge with 2 large pieces of chipboard.

ScrapMatts is a place to learn, share ideas and view some great design concepts, while offering Australian Made, Laser Cut Chipboard, original shapes and designs, made to compliment your scrapbooking pages or your card making projects

Thank you also to Die Cuts with a View, who is also sponsoring this challenge with a paper stack for a second lucky participant.

Lisa is our featured artist today. Her color and pattern choices highlight the bird nest (and berry) photos so nicely. And the stitching and misting add really nice detail.

We are so glad that you joined us, Lisa. Please grab our "featured button" below and wear it on your blog.
Here's a reminder of our current sketch:

Please link up your layouts over in the sidebar by August 29th 2015 at midnight EST to be in the running for one of our prizes. All prizes will be awarded using Random.org to pick a number.

When linking your layouts, please make sure it is linked to the specific post your layout is in, not your blog as a whole. It can be hard for our team to find your layout, especially if you blog often. You can also link from any gallery, including Facebook and Flickr (although we may not be able to comment in all forums.)

Feel free to combine this sketch challenge with other non-sketch challenges, such as colour challenges.

Please post a link back to Stuck?! Sketches on your blog entry for our challenge. We would also love for you to share the sketch.

Thanks for joining us today. We look forward to seeing your creations.
Janice :-)

  1. Loved this sketch when I saw it in my Instagram feed. My first time participating in the challenge.
